In this video, we explore the remarkable gargoyles on the façade of the University of Alcalá de Henares (Madrid, Spain). Human figures, animals, and fantastical beings form an ensemble of great expressiveness and originality. We analyse their arrangement, style, and themes within the context of Renaissance university architecture.
