This video explores one of the most complex and symbolically charged typologies in gargoyle iconography: angels and demons. Through these figures, medieval sculpture expressed themes of salvation and damnation, virtue and sin, often drawing from theological sources and popular beliefs. The coexistence of these opposing entities on the same architectural plane reflects the spiritual tension embedded in Gothic art and its didactic function within sacred spaces.
