Throughout this series, we have examined the most common thematic categories—real and mythical animals, humans, hybrid beings, and abstract motifs—highlighting their iconographic richness and symbolic significance. This final entry offers a reflection on the geometric designs found in some gargoyles, emphasizing their aesthetic and conceptual roles within medieval architectural sculpture.
